| The Sully Station Swim Team is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, and organized Head Swim Coach to lead our summer NVSL program. Our team values fun, teamwork, skill development, and community, and we are looking for a coach who enjoys working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. Qualifications - College graduate or current college student - Competitive swimming background at the NVSL, club, high school, or collegiate level - Previous coaching experience (NVSL or summer league experience preferred) - Familiarity with NVSL and USA Swimming rules, including stroke technique and meet procedures - Experience supervising or mentoring assistant coaches - Current Lifeguard Certification (or ability to obtain prior to the season) - Pool Operator Certification or willingness to obtain before the season begins Responsibilities - Plan and lead daily practices that focus on skill development, confidence, and fun - Coach at NVSL dual meets, relay carnivals, and championship meets - Create a positive and encouraging environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and team spirit - Provide guidance, leadership, and support to assistant coaches - Prepare swimmer entries, lineups, and relays for meets - Serve as a positive role model for swimmers and represent Sully Station Swim Team with professionalism - Communicate and collaborate with the Team Representatives, parent volunteers, and league officials What We Value - A coach who enjoys working with kids and families - Clear, friendly communication with swimmers, parents, and staff - A commitment to building confidence, character, and a love for swimming Compensation - Competitive pay based on experience.
