Laurel Hill Tritons, a NVSL Division 14 swim team, is currently seeking a swim coach for our upcoming Winter/Spring Swim program (September through December 2026).   Practices are held at South Run Rec Center on Sunday evenings from 7-8pm, with approximately 30 swimmers participating in the winter swim program.

Practice dates include:
September 6,13, 20, 27
October 4, 11, 18, 25
November 1, 8, 15, 22
December 6, 13, 20

 Winter Swim Coach responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement skill-appropriate workout plans
• Manage coaching staff of junior coaches to assist with practices
• Provide stroke and technique instruction to swimmers of various ability levels
• Cultivate a safe and fun practice environment that fosters a love of the sport
• Maintain effective communication with parents and pool staff throughout the season

 Requirements:

• Previous competitive swimming experience
• A passion for stroke and technique development
• Experience working with children of all ages and ability levels 
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Prior coaching experience (NVSL, USA Swimming, or similar program)
