Villa Aquatic Club, located in Fairfax near GMU (4299 Andes Dr), is accepting applications for a Head Coach and Assistant Swim Coach for the 2025 summer swim season.

Villa is looking for enthusiastic coaches to work with both the developmental and competitive swimmers this summer.  In 2024, Villa swam in Division 9, with about 125 swimmers, including minis (pre-swimmers) through 18yo.

Responsibilities include:

• Engage and motivate swimmers in a fun and safe environment: 
• Pre-season (evening) practices
• In-season practices from 8am to noon M - F
• Competitive and developmental meets
• Mentor junior coaches
• Share workouts to parents running evening swim practices
• Support spirit events

Qualifications:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults
• Experience coaching young swimmers
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work well with other coaches
• Knowledge of proper stroke mechanics
• Lifeguarding certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and Pool Operator’s license
