It's Almost Time for Officials Clinics!
Mon, 5-12-2025 | NVSL Executive Board and Officials Committee
The first Officials' training clinics of the 2025 season will take place this Saturday, May 17 at 8am! We're offering a New Referee clinic at Hunt Valley and a clinic for both New and Recertifying Stroke and Turn Officials at Cottontail. On Sunday May 18 we're offering a New Starter clinic at 8am at Parklawn.

All clinics start on time, rain or shine. There's no cost for the clinics and no registration for the in-person clinics is necessary. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for a certification clinic or depart before its conclusion , you will not receive credit for attending. Check the NVSL Calendar for all the clinics throughout the spring, as well as links to register for virtual recertification clinics. Our biggest training day of the day will take place Saturday May 31 at NVSL University! You can also review the schedule as a document HERE.

Thank you to our Officials Committee, Clinic Instructors, and to all the parents across the League who give their time to officiate meets! You help to ensure that each and every meet is SAFE, FAIR, and FUN for our swimmers!

Register for Officials Virtual Recertification Clinics

Virtual recertification clinics are for officials who have been certified in the position for a minimum of 5 years, no exceptions. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to the virtual session or depart early, you will not receive credit for attending the clinic.
