• Head Coach Position for Summer of 2014

  The Ilda Clippers, an NVSL pool located in West Annandale, is looking for
  an experienced head coach to lead the swim team for the summer of 2014 and
  beyond. Ilda generally competes in the Division 12 to 16 range and
  anticipates being in Division 15 in 2014. Ilda has a relatively small but
  very committed group of swim families and a beautiful, tree lined facility
  in a well established neighborhood. The team is structured like most NVSL
  teams with a main team of swimmers from 7 to 18 years of age and a
  developmental team of mostly 5 and 6 year olds.

  The head coach will be responsible for the main swim team while providing
  some guidance to the developmental team. Duties include running daily
  practices, developing the weekly meet sheets and interacting with the Team
  Rep to ensure that the season is a success. Practices begin the Tuesday
  after Memorial Day in the afternoons and move to mornings as soon as the
  Fairfax County school year ends.
