Job Title	Head Coach 2023 Season
Job Description
The Rolling Valley Swim Club located in West Springfield, VA is accepting applications for the Head Swim Coach position for the upcoming 2023 summer swim season. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic head coach with a proven track record of helping swimmers ages 5-18 and all swim abilities to improve their stroke mechanics and conditioning. We are a team of 110 swimmers competing in the NVSL (Division 13 in 2022). We expect to be somewhere between Division 13 and 14 for the 2023 season. Our primary goal is to have fun in a competitive and caring team environment. Make all swimmers enjoy summer and bring the team spirit back to the team. Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with experience in assisting with directing a coaching staff Experience with coaching competitive club swimmers and summer swimmers Some knowledge of creating swim and dryland workouts, seasonal plans and sets, and meet lineups. Good knowledge of proper training techniques and best practices Prior assistant head swim coaching experience or multi-season assistant coaching responsibilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills with pool staff, coaches, youth, and parents Certified in CPR/First Aid and Lifeguard/Water Safety Knowledge of NVSL rules and procedures Applicants, please send resumes and a cover letter to: rollingvalley.dolphins@gmail.com
