    Happy New Year!

While we are still digging out from this week's winter storm, it is nice to think about warmer days ahead. We are busy planning for the 2022 NVSL season and we would like to announce that the annual Seeding Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 20th. Given the unpredictability of conditions due to COVID, we plan to hold the meeting via Zoom. More details will follow in late February/early March.

Team Reps - please take a few minutes to review your team contacts and let us know if we need to make any updates. We want to be sure to add new team reps to the email distribution list as well. If you want to post a coach wanted ad, please email askNVSL@gmail.com.

Thank you for everything you do for the League!

  • Final Details - Individual All Stars

    Thu, 7-29-2021 | Jen Sayasithsena

We are very excited to welcome swimmers, reps, coaches, parents and spectators to the Individual All Star (IAS) meet this Saturday, July 31st at Springboard. Below are some final details to help you have a wonderful meet experience.
Merchandise Pick-up (Formerly known as Familiarization)
Tomorrow, July 30th, team reps, parents and swimmers are invited to pick up and/or purchase IAS merchandise at Springboard between 8 and 11AM. Unlike prior years, teams will not be permitted to swim in the pool. However, attendees may explore the pool grounds. There is no parking in the pool parking lot, but there is ample parking throughout the neighborhood. Please be careful not to block anyone's driveway.
    IAS Livestream
We will use the new NVSL Facebook page to livestream the meet on Saturday. Please like the new page and share the link to the livestream event with your teams. (Note: There is an old NVSL page that is no longer active. The new NVSL page is categorized as a "sports league.")
    COVID Precautions
There is an increase of COVID cases in our area. We strongly recommend that anyone who is unvaccinated wear a mask when they are unable to physically distance themselves from others. This recommendation includes younger swimmers while sitting in the clerk of course. Anyone who is not feeling well should stay home to protect others.
Meet Day Check-in Process and Parking
Meet volunteers who have reserved parking have been contacted. Everyone else should follow the directions of parking marshals to find parking at Lewis High School or throughout the neighborhood. Please be respectful of the pool's neighbors and do not block anyone's driveway.
When team reps and coaches arrive at Springboard, they should report to the front of the clubhouse to check in and receive their meet credentials and programs. Teams will be given a total of two wristbands. No exceptions. The wristband is required to access the team rep/coaches section of the deck throughout the meet.
    Photos and Awards Distribution
Due to concerns about COVID, we will not take group photos or distribute awards at the meet this year. There are numerous photo spots throughout the facility.
Team reps should check their email for details about awards distribution.
